‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ Season 4 Teaser Reveals Premiere Date, Will Air in Two Parts
Tina Fey and Robert Carlock’s acclaimed Netflix comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will return for Season 4 on Wednesday, May 30, the streaming service announced Wednesday.
That day will feature the drop of the first six episodes of the new season, which is being released in two parts. The second half of Season 4 will launch on a later date in 2018.
The series has been nominated for a slew of Emmys, received Screen Actors Guild award nods, along with other critical and industry honors.
It has also become a fan favorite. In a study released by Netflix a few months ago, the streaming service identified Kimmy Schmidt as coming in at No. 15 in its list of the Top 20 Netflix shows that viewers “binge-raced” (i.e., watched an entire season of a show within 24 hours of its release).
