‘New Girl’s Getting a ‘Walking Dead’ Guest Star

She’s taken on flesh-hungry zombies, but can she handle Winston?

Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays Sasha Williams on The Walking Dead, will guest star on New Girl, reports Entertainment Weekly. She’ll play Winston’s (Lamorne Morris) new girlfriend Rhonda who is in the Army Reserves and shares Winston’s deep affection for pranking. Rhonda appears in an episode this spring, but Schmidt (Max Greenfield) doesn’t want Winston to bring her as a plus-one to his wedding to Cece (Hannah Simone).

Martin-Green has previously booked stints on TV shows such as The Good Wife, Army Wives and Once Upon a Time.

New Girl airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Fox.
