Kevin Spacey on ‘House of Cards’ Creator Exit: We Will Honor the Road He Paved
House of Cards Season 4 has yet to launch, but the show has already been picked up for a fifth season—without creator Beau Willimon.

Fresh off his SAG Award win for Male Actor in a Drama Series, Kevin Spacey (President Frank Underwood) acknowledged he had “no f—ing idea” what the show will look like without its former showrunner. “We have’t made any decisions about who might come in,” he said. “There’s a tremendous discussion to be had.”
“I wish Beau all the best,” Spacey continued. “He’s worked tirelessly for four seasons…I hope he and I will work together one day.”
And though Season 5 will be the first without Willimon at its helm, “We will, without question, honor the road he paved,” Spacey reassured.
