WATCH: Kendrick Lamar In His ‘Fearless” Guest Appearance on Sunday’s ‘Power’
If you’re excited about platinum-selling, Grammy award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical artist, Kendrick Lamar, appearing on Sunday’s episode of Starz’s drama, Power, the network just added a bit more to that excitement.
Saturday at the 2018 Television Critics Association summer press tour, Starz released footage from Lamar’s appearance on the episode along with commentary by series creator Courtney A. Kemp and executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
Of Lamar’s appearance in the “Happy Birthday” episode, Jackson said, “Kendrick’s piece, this is going to be big. People are going to look at him and be really surprised with his performance in the show, and I’m excited for that.”
Kemp added, “The thing that was beautiful, is that Kendrick was fearless.”
Power, currently in its fifth season on Starz, stars Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora, Rotimi Akinosho, Jackson and Lela Loren.
