Instead, he just wants each of them to perform a "good deed" for him. Last Man Standing‘s Fox revival has found its new Mandy and Boyd!

On Monday, the network announced that it has recast the roles originated by Molly Ephraim and Flynn Morrison. Molly McCook will star as Mandy, the second eldest daughter of Tim Allen‘s Mike Baxter, and Jet Jurgensmeyer will play her nephew — Kristin’s son — Boyd.

These actors are no strangers to TV, as both of them have extensive credits to their names. McCook can be seen in the upcoming Fosters spinoff Good Trouble in the recurring role of Rebecca. She’s also appeared on shows like The Ranch, GleeModern FamilyAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and much more.

Meanwhile, Jurgensmeyer is most recognizable as Skip, the grandson to Sean Hayes’ Jack, from the Will & Grace revival. The actor has also had roles on CSI, Hot in ClevelandGrey’s Anatomy, and more.

While it will be odd for fans to adjust to new actors in these well-known roles, it isn’t the first time that Last Man Standing has replaced one of its core characters. In 2012 during the show’s original run, Amanda Fuller replaced actress Alexandra Krosney as Kristin Baxter after a time-jump. Similarly, Flynn Morrison replaced young twins as the older version of Boyd.

These new additions will round out the Baxter family, so we’re one step closer to the show’s return!
