MTV Officially Announces ‘The Hills’ Revival ‘New Beginnings’ (VIDEO)
Looks like the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards did have a small surprise up its sleeve.
Though the annual music awards show wasn’t too unexpected on Monday night — even with a new setting like the Radio City Music Hall and the highly-anticipated Video Vanguard Award and performance by Jennifer Lopez — the network set the internet on fire with a quick commercial spot. In a blink or you’ll miss it moment, they announced the return of The Hills!
After months of buzz, MTV confirmed the revival, titled “New Beginnings,” via a vague teaser.

Which former cast members — Kristin Cavallari? Lauren Conrad? Stephen Colletti? Heidi Montag? — will be back is still a mystery. But apparently it’s “coming soon” so that could mean before the end of the year! Judging by how quickly MTV turned around a second season of the Jersey Shore revival, we don’t imagine we’ll have to wait long!
