Fox Sets ‘Bones’ Spring Return Date, ‘American Grit’ Series Premiere

Bones will return to the Fox lineup on Thursday, April 14 at 8/7c, the network announced.

In the show’s spring premiere, “The Death in the Defense,” Hodgins (TJ Thyne) is “eight weeks into his rehabilitation and forced to navigate life in a wheelchair. Meanwhile, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) investigate the death of a public defender who had multiple defendants from previous cases with motives to kill her.”

And in other news, the new reality competition series, American Grit, will have its series premiere following Bones‘ return. The show follows “16 of the country’s toughest men and women as they are split into four teams and face a variety of military-grade and survival-themed challenges set in the wilderness of Pack Forest in Eatonville, WA.” WWE Superstar John Cena and an elite group of mentors will push the competitors to be their best, with million of dollars of prize money at stake.
