Summer’s Ending: ‘Royal Pains’ Will Air Its Final Season
Looks like the concierge medicine business is coming to an end.
After seven seasons, USA announced this year will be the eighth and final season for Royal Pains. Eight new episodes will air starting in May, which will also include the show’s milestone 100th episode.
For the last episodes, Hank (Mark Feuerstein) will finally decide between his professional and personal life, which may affect the future of HankMed. Evan (Paul Costanzo) and his wife Paige (Brooke D’Orsay) hit an impasse in their marriage, while Divya (Reshma Shetty) and Jeremiah (Ben Shenkman) reconsider their career paths. Hank and Evan’s dad, Eddie (Henry Winkler), also pops up again with a secret that takes everyone by surprise, while Boris (Campbell Scott) makes a life-changing decision that will impact everyone.

Some recognizable faces from the past will reappear, including Jill (Jill Flint), who left a few seasons again for Africa, Divya’s ex-fiancé/current boyfriend, Raj (Rupak Ginn), former teen patient Libby (Meredith Hagner) and Paige’s dad, General William Collins (Bob Gunton). Also appearing: Constance Wu (Fresh Off the Boat), Ana Ortiz (Devious Maids), Annie Potts and Teri Polo from The Fosters and Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years).
To celebrate its final season, Royal Pains will also air a musical episode with Ms. Newberg (Christine Ebersole) picturing every situation as a musical after her best friend, Annette (Cloris Leachman), visits.
