First Look: WWE’s John Cena Hosts the Tough ‘American Grit’ (VIDEO)

Do civilians have what it takes to master courage, resolve and strength of character, the three core military values?

That’s the question that begs an answer when 16 contestants prove their American Grit by undertaking brutal military-based exercises out in the Pacific Northwest wilderness.

WWE’s John Cena will host the new series, which splits the men and women into teams of four to face 13 grueling mental and physical challenges. Each team will be led by experts from the Rangers, Marines, Army and Navy SEALs, who will yell at them to “Suck it up!” to prove themselves.

The last team to make it to the end will win $1 million and show they are the best of the best.
