‘Deadliest Catch’ Exclusive Clip: Wild Bill Gets POed at Another Ship’s Captain

Deadliest Catch Wild Bill Wichrowski
Discovery Channel

“WildBillNotHappy” is the title of the exclusive preview clip Discovery Channel provided ahead of Tuesday’s premiere episode of Deadliest Catch, and, boy, is that an understatement. The skipper of the F/V Cape Caution is, in the words of another captain, “f—ing pissed.”

What has happened to incur Capt. Wichrowski’s wrath? It appears in the clip that he is irate at another ship not picking up its rings. In the description for the episode, titled “No Good Deed…,” Discovery notes that “Wild Bill risks his biggest lead in history to bail Josh Harris out of trouble.” Clearly, this is a major inconvenience to Wild Bill, who lets that be known over the radio, and across the whole fleet, who can hear his displeasure and, in some cases, get a kick out of it.

“Getting reamed by Wild Bill is unpleasant,” states the show’s narrator, before adding, “Getting humiliated in front of the entire fleet—that’s hell.”

Wild Bill sums up the situation: “This is BULL-s—, buddy.”

Also on Tuesday’s premiere episode, 23-year-old Sean Dwyer finds out if he’s got what it takes, while veteran skipper Johnathan Hillstrand leans on his crew and a little tip from a friend to turn his season around.
