Here’s Some Good News, Charlie Brown! The ‘Peanuts’ Gang Swings Onto Boomerang

Time to do the Snoopy dance! After the rousing success of The Peanuts Movie last year, Boomerang has just announced the May 9th premiere of Peanuts, an all-new series starring Charlie Brown and company.

Promising to capture the “timeless adventures of Charlie Brown’s gang and his wildly imaginative, supremely confident and world-famous beagle, Snoopy,” the animated network’s release states that original production will draw from Charles Schulz’ print comic strips for vignettes “filled with humor and heart for the whole family.”

Fans can get a sneak peek at Peanuts on the Cartoon Network, on May 9th at 10:30am/9:30c before its launch on Boomerang, which will air new episodes daily at 11:30a/10:30c. There will also be added shorts available on Cartoon Network’s video app. Because let’s be honest, happiness is a warm blanket and Snoopy whenever you need him.
