‘Criminal Minds’: Paget Brewster to Return for Multiple Episodes

Paget Brewster (Prentiss) will return to Criminal Minds, series star Kirsten Vangsness (Garcia) shared during the CBS Fan Favorites panel at Comic-Con.

“[She’s] going to be on several episodes this year,” Vangsness says. “That’s a secret they said I could share with you!”

Brewster, who spent last season on Fox’s Grandfathered, appeared on Criminal Minds from 2006-2012, and has had sporadic returns since she left. Prentiss will  be “joining the BAU when they need her most, with the escape of 13 serial killers,” CBS teased in an official release about Brewster’s return.

“We’re excited to have Paget Brewster back for multiple episodes in our 12th season,” said executive producer Erica Messer, in a statement. “The BAU can use more help this year since they’ve got a lot of known and unknown subjects to catch.”
