TV Fan Favorites 2020: Pick the Best Couple, Villain, Scene-Stealer & More! (POLL)

Here we go, TV fans. Welcome to our re-booted, re-vamped and reinvigorated Fan Favorite Polls. And with so much TV out there right now, we’ve got more categories than ever.

Welcome to the third part of our polls, focused entirely on small-screen characters!

The ambitions, passions, quirks, and fears of TV’s great characters are what keep us coming back to our favorite shows time and time again. They’re smart, silly, rich, poor, old, and young. Some save the world, while others can barely save themselves. No matter how outlandish their lives or circumstances, they feel as real as our friends and family.

And that’s true even for the nominees in the Non-Human category. When it comes to formerly abused, now take-no-prisoners rebellious robot Dolores Abernathy on sci-fi drama Westworld (HBO) we can feel her pain and anger. And who, upon seeing Baby Yoda in The Mandalorian (Disney+), can’t coo over that sweet cutie?

Next up: the Scene-Stealer. Sure, they may not be main characters, but they always deliver a satisfying trademark moment, like the frosty one-liners of stoic MI6 big boss Carolyn Martens (Fiona Shaw) on spy thriller Killing Eve (BBC America). Getting a lot more screen time is the much-loved Crime-Fighter. Take gritty, empathetic New York cop Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) who for 21 seasons has been seeking justice for the most vulnerable on Law & Order SVU (NBC.)

And we can all relate to a Couple overcoming misunderstandings big and small, as in the refreshing new sitcom Bob Hearts Abishola (CBS) starring Billy Gardell and Folake Olowofoyeku. But where would all their stories be without the obstacles created by the Villain? Luckily even Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) on Supergirl (The CW) hasn’t destroyed the world… no matter how hard he tries.
