It’s the Mother of All Cameos on ‘The Young and the Restless’

Daytime’s top-rated soap opera, CBS’s The Young and the Restless, will hit the 11,000-episode mark on Tuesday, September 1, with a special hour that includes a guest appearance by the show’s co-creator Lee Phillip Bell.
The beloved television pioneer, who launched Y&R in 1973 with her late husband, Bill Bell, appears in a scene at the Genoa City Athletic Club and will cross paths with her real-life daughter Lauralee Bell (Christine) and Y&R’s longest-running player Doug Davidson (Paul). We won’t spoil the deets but, trust us, it’s super charming.
