‘Chicago Fire’: First Look at Dawson and Casey’s Near Miss
Now that Dawson (Monica Raymund, above left) is officially fostering young Louie (Aiden and Austin Cohen), the boy she rescued from a fire last season, there’s much more at stake with each risk she and firefighter beau Casey (Jesse Spencer, above right) take while on the job.

“It’s a near miss for the new mom in her first call,” says executive producer Derek Haas. After a school bus crashes, the engine explodes, trapping several kids inside. Dawson and Casey dive to the ground, “and as always, she relies on Casey to pull her through. He’s her rock, on and off the job,” Haas says. Will the possibility that Louie could lose two parents be too much for Dawson to handle? Expect some big changes for the couple in Season 5.
