‘9-1-1: Lone Star’: Gwyneth Meets Tommy & the 126 Battles a Volcanic Eruption (PHOTOS)

The 126 is going to have its hands full in the January 25 episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star.
As teased at the end of the Season 2 premiere, the firehouse is going to be dealing with quite a few calls — saving lives at a college pool party, a family’s mini-golf outing, and a food truck — as a result of a volcanic eruption in “2100°.” That means at least one crazy rescue, as glimpsed in Fox’s photos for the episode.
And elsewhere in the episode, Captain Owen Strand’s (Rob Lowe) ex-wife Gwyneth (Lisa Edelstein), now staying in town and not just quarantining with him and their son T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein), is stopping by the 126 and meeting its newest member, paramedic captain Tommy Vega (Gina Torres).
“It was a blast shooting that scene because I got to meet the entire cast,” Edelstein tells TV Insider. While she’s not sure how much more she’ll be interacting with most of them (she calls that introduction between Gwyneth and Tommy “fleeting”), she teases, “we have a great game night coming up, too,” which features “really hilarious writing.”
