‘9-1-1: Nashville’ Season 2 Premiere Photos: Meet Ryan Phillippe’s Rogue, Plus Don & Blythe Drama
The 113 is going to have its hands full when 9-1-1: Nashville returns for its second season on Thursday, October 15. Plagues are, well, plaguing the city, and that’s where the newest series regular, Ryan Phillippe‘s Detective Rogue Kelly, comes in.
In the Season 2 premiere, titled “Going Rogue,” ABC teases, “The 113 responds to a museum overrun by murder hornets, while newcomer Det. Rogue Kelly investigates a series of ominous crimes of biblical proportions. Blythe [Jessica Capshaw] and Dixie [LeAnn Rimes] face the consequences of their brawl, and Don [Chris O’Donnell] pays a price too.”
The 9-1-1: Nashville Season 1 finale left off with Blythe and Dixie’s fight, after the latter revealed that the former’s husband had been considering sleeping with her to stop the diss tracks she’d been releasing. Don did ultimately choose not to go through with it, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be consequences.
When the premiere begins three weeks later after leaving them mid-fight, showrunner Rashad Raisani told TV Insider that after taking a moment to reveal to the audience just how it concluded, there’s “kind of the new reality for these two ladies. You see what their ramifications for that fight were and how they are now kind of facing the consequences for it.”
The fallout of what Don had almost done will be “pretty brutal,” he teased. “He’s going to have to face it. It’s going to affect their marriage in a pretty deep way. It’s going to shake it because betrayal starts in the heart before it even has to become physical. So I think for him, he’s going to have to appreciate the kind of hurt that he caused. Even if it was a case of emotions running high and there were misunderstandings in the run-up to it, there are going to be some severe consequences to pay, and he will.”

By the 2 later seasons of 911: Nashville (seasons 3 and 4 : 2028 & 2029), Det. Kenneth "Rogue" Kelly will be a proper changed man and a born-again christian after spending his little time in the Tennessee state prison as one of the male inmates! 💯
