‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 15: Who Are the Semifinalists?
The live shows are over, and America and the judges have chosen 20 acts to advance to the semifinals in America’s Got Talent Season 15.
While quite a few are singers and/or dancers, there are also mentalists, daredevils, and even an aerialist among those who are one step closer to walking away as the next winner of the NBC competition show. Some of the season may have been a bit different (like only one episode of Judge Cuts) due to the coronavirus pandemic, but we still got to see some great performances over the summer.

Alan Silva (Aerialist)
“You’re entertaining and you’re talented,” Mandel told him after his audition. “It’s thrilling and scary and graceful. Every possible human emotion that can be elicited from one act, you have it all.”
Archie Williams (Singer)
“Continue to tell stories,” guest judge Kelly Clarkson advised him after he was voted through to the semifinals. “More than ever we need hope right now, and your story is one of hope and drive. And to see you accomplishing your dream is an honor.”
BAD Salsa (Dancers)
“You are surprising. You are energetic,” Mandel said after their audition. “That looked dangerous. It was fast. It was entertaining.”
Bello Sisters (Balancing act)
Klum noted the “grace” and “speed” and elegance of their performance after their audition.
Brandon Leake (Poet)
“I’ve never been more moved in my life on this show from any other act. We need you on this show. We need you in this world. And we need you in the semifinals,” Mandel told his Golden Buzzer. “Two words come to mind, with everything that is me: you matter.”
Brett Loudermilk (Sword-swallower and magician)
“You’re incredibly entertaining. You live in the moment,” Mandel said. “Even when things don’t go right, you make them right.”
Broken Roots (Singers)
Though they were eliminated during Judge Cuts, they got a second chance when an act couldn’t continue for the live shows. That showed “you should never lose hope,” Vergara told them and added, “I think you deserve to be here.”
Celina (Singer)
“Flawless, the song, the way you look,” Vergara said, adding she’d give her a Golden Buzzer if she could after her quarterfinals performance.
Cristina Rae (Singer)
“I have to say there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that you will continue on because honestly I’ve heard [“Hallelujah”] so many times, but no one has sung it the way you have,” Klum told her Golden Buzzer of her quarterfinals performance. “I still have goosebumps.”
Daneliya Tuleshova (Singer)
She is “perfection,” according to Vergara. “Don’t change anything. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s flawless.”
Double Dragon (Singers and dancers)
“I love to see two Latina girls having fun on that stage,” Vergara said after their audition. “It was full of energy.”
Jonathan Goodwin (Daredevil)
“This is one of the nuttiest, craziest, scariest danger acts we’ve had across all the years,” Cowell said during Judge Cuts.
Kenadi Dodds (Singer)
“I knew America would see that sparkle in you … that you have that special something,” Klum told her after she was voted through to the semifinals. “Always stick to your gut. Always listen to yourself, and just go for it.”
Malik Dope (Drummer)
“To me it felt like it was a musical obstacle course. You were going from one part to the next part,” Klum said of his quarterfinals performance. “It was absolutely incredible. There was not one moment where we had the chance to get bored.”
Max Major (Mentalist)
Cowell called his Judge Cuts act “one of the most astonishing things” he’d seen.
Roberta Battaglia (Singer)
“Now I realize I did the right thing,” Vergara told her Golden Buzzer after she made it to the semifinals. “You’re amazing. You’re unbelievable. This is going to be amazing for you and everybody that’s going to be watching you.”
Shaquira McGrath (Singer)
Cowell said she “absolutely commanded” her Judge Cuts performance.
Spyros Bros (Diablo duo)
Voices of Our City Choir (Choir)
“It was a touching experience to rewatch [the first performance],” guest judge Kenan Thompson said during the live shows. “Continue to do what you do and bring it every single time.”
W.A.F.F.L.E. Crew (Dancers)
“You are Golden Buzzer worthy. You are at the top of your game,” Mandel said to Cowell’s Golden Buzzer during the live shows.
