10 Alums Who Probably Would’ve Been on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ This Summer

Bachelor in Paradise has been a summer staple since Season 1 aired in 2014, but for the first time since its premiere, the fan-favorite Bachelor spinoff won’t be happening this year.

Just like most film and television productions, Paradise Season 7 was canceled this summer due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Not only is this disappointing for fans, but it’s even more disappointing for the Bachelor and Bachelorette alums still looking for love (and more Instagram followers).

As we await the show’s return (hopefully) in summer 2021, click through the gallery above for our picks for former contestants who might’ve been in the cast this year — and who knows, maybe we’ll see them next year!

How much would producers have loved to have had Hannah Ann and Madison on a season of BIP together?! The answer? A lot. Now, we’re not sure if Hannah Ann would’ve agreed to go on TV, especially since she didn’t have the greatest ending to her Bachelor experience ever, but you never know!

Bachelor in Paradise - Tyler Cameron

Tyler Cameron

Matt James’ real-life best friend Tyler Cameron has already guest starred on Season 25 (remember that cringe massage?!). Easygoing Cameron may not ask the tough questions, but the After the Final Rose special would breeze by without a hitch if Cameron was hosting with James and his bride-t0-be.

Mykenna would’ve been BIP gold. She would bring the drama, tears, and incredible facial expressions to the beach, and we can only hope she’ll be able to join the show next season.

Mike Johnson

Mike didn’t have the greatest luck when he was on Paradise last season, which is why we think he would’ve come back for Round 2. He was such a fan favorite on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, so viewers would be really happy to have him back on their screens.

Demi Burnett

Demi recently got out of a relationship, and though she’s probably not ready to jump back into the dating pool, a season of Paradise just doesn’t seem right without Demi! She had such a monumental season last year after proposing to Kristian, and though it didn’t work out we need Demi back on our screens.

This may be controversial, but there could’ve been a good chance that Luke showed up to Paradise if there was a season this year. It’s been over a year since his controversial time on The Bachelorette, and there’s really nothing more this show loves than redeeming villainous characters on BIP.

Kelsey is destined for BIP, there’s no question about it. She started out on Peter’s season as a bit of a wildcard, but she proved to be a real contender over the course of the season. Not only would Kelsey bring the entertainment to BIP, but there’s a good chance she’d find a true connection.

It’s unclear whether Shawn wants anything to do with Bachelor Nation following his split from Kaitlyn Bristowe, but he’d be a great addition to Paradise. There were rumors he was interested in joining BIP last season, so this year could’ve been his time.

Bachelor in Paradise Peter Kraus

Peter has really separated himself from Bachelor Nation following his time on Rachel Lindsay’s season, but we had a feeling he would’ve come back to the franchise this year on BIP. He’s still single (as far as we know) and would’ve been a great addition to the cast.

Madison may not be ready to give love another shot on TV, but producers would’ve been silly not to cast her this season. Not only is she a fan favorite, but she would’ve made for a great storyline.
