Behind the Swag: What’s Up for Grabs at a Golden Globes Gifting Suite
Every year, before nearly every splashy awards show, there are gifting suites that pop up all over the place designed to hook up celebs, presenters and nominees with a boatload of goodies, big and small. It’s basically the rich getting richer, but also an awesome way for lesser-known brands to get their products into way better-known hands, who may then help raise their profile.
This year, Secret Room Events staged its annual Golden Globes Style Lounge Gift Suite inside the ballroom of the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, and it was a scene! Filled to capacity with as many products as familiar faces (we spotted half the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful and at least one up-and-coming model), the Style Lounge Gift Suite was clearly the room where it happens for those who have come into town for the Globes and for entrepreneurs on their hustle.
In addition to an L.L. Bean bag loaded with Chapstick, skin-care items from Livad, Botanical Signature, Prana Spa-Ceuticals and Clayton Schagal, Kitchen Aid products, workout pants from Nancy Rose Performance and Pony Up Daddy Saddles (look ’em up, trust us), the event also showcased Nudestix matte lipsticks, Behmor’s app-controlled home brewing coffee makers, globally sourced kids playsets from Adventuretown Toy Emporium and adorable outfits for the little ones from Boyer Clothing.
