Intelligence is in the field without Jay (Jesse Lee Soffer) in the Chicago P.D. winter premiere, but is that a sign that fans should be especially worried about his fate?
In the fall finale, Jay learned the hard way why he shouldn’t have become personally involved in the case involving Marcus West. Not only was he kidnapped alongside Marcus’ wife, but after he informed Angela (Vicky Jeudy) of who he really was and what happened to Marcus, she shot him. And now he’s nowhere to be seen in the “Mercy” photos. Uh-oh.
But what we do see in this look at the winter premiere is the rest of the unit — especially Hailey (Tracy Spiridakos) — worried at the hospital and ready to kick down some doors in Chicago. Is tracking down an illegal arms dealer just what Intelligence needs right now?
