Blossom Family Roots
When Sabrina’s (Kiernan Shipka) searching for King Herod’s crown, Ambrose (Chance Perdomo) informs her the last known owner of the relic was a man named Benjamin Blossom who dies in Riverdale. It’s safe to say he’s related to the other Blossoms fans have met on The CW show.
Team Spirit
Although Sabrina and Roz’s (Jaz Sinclair) involvement with Greendale High’s cheer team wasn’t a direct connection to Riverdale, their musical routines certainly reflected the River Vixens’ own performances on Riverdale.
Welcome to Riverdale
As if mentioning it wasn’t enough, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina ventured to the bordering town for the first time in the series.
Jughead’s Signature
When the camera pans to the other side of the sign, a slew of graffiti is revealed, among them the statements “Murder capital of the world,” and “JJ Wuz Here.” The only JJ we know from Riverdale is Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse), but if that’s not enough to convince you, the crown attached to the tag is confirmation enough.
Penelope Blossom’s Cameo
Okay, she may not have been playing Penelope Blossom, but actress Nathalie Boltt did appear as a woman named Miss Dubois — a disguise created by Prudence (Tati Gabrielle).
Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe Cravings
When Dr. Cee (Alessandro Juliani) discovers Hilda’s (Lucy Davis) transformation at the hands of the Pagans, he offers to get her anything and she asks for milkshakes and a burger from a place in Riverdale. Although she never says Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe, it’s obvious that’s the establishment she’s talking about.
South Side Serpent Representation
While out getting Hilda food, a South Side Serpent from Riverdale enters Dr. Cee’s bookshop for a bite, unaware that he’s about to [Spoiler Alert] become the meal.
Robin’s Doppelganger
Jonathan Whitesell may have brought Robin to life onscreen in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but the actor also played Kurtz in Riverdale.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returned for Part 3 and the series, which is part of the same universe where Riverdale exists, saw the two titles finally cross paths — sort of.
There were more than a few nods to Archie’s hometown throughout Part 3, with various callbacks to favorite locations like Pop’s and appearances for stars who have played roles in The CW’s show. Whether it was a note about Jughead’s affinity for graffiti or the Blossom’s checkered past, there were plenty of exciting references made.
