Criminal Minds is kicking off its final season by hunting down an elusive serial killer and bringing back several guest stars.

The first two episodes of the 15th season air back-to-back on January 8, and in the premiere, “Under the Skin,” the BAU investigates an UnSub with striking similarities to Rossi’s (Joe Mantegna) latest obsession, The Chameleon, a.k.a. Everett Lynch (Michael Mosley), who nearly killed him before disappearing.

Then in the second hour, “Awakenings,” a member of the BAU lands in the hospital, and the rest of the team searches for Lynch and his daughter, Grace (Alex Jennings). Plus, Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) has a meaningful visit with his mother, Diana (Jane Lynch), while she’s experiencing a period of lucidity.

And of course, we have to wonder what will come of JJ’s (A.J. Cook) confession from the Season 14 finale. What will it mean for her relationships with Reid and Will (Josh Stewart)?
