Even with its critically-derided final season, Game of Thrones made Emmy Awards history last year — setting the record for most Emmy nominations in a single year, tying the record for most Outstanding Drama wins, and increasing its lead in terms of total Emmys haul. And that’s not even the extent of the HBO show’s Emmy legacy.
