Plot Twist! ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Reveals 4 New Women Joining Cast (PHOTOS)

Drama is stirring up at the farms in Farmer Wants a Wife Season 2. The Fox reality dating series is shaking things up by inviting new women to connect with the four farmers as potential new guests at their homesteads. The plot twist was announced in the March 14 episode as part of a cliffhanger ending. Now we know who these potential new additions are.

Among the invited women are three all-new daters: Ashley, Natalie, and Emerson. The fourth addition is Makenzie, farmer Nathan’s former solo date pick who’s coming back to see if they can try again. The women are not pleased with this plot twist in the promo for this episode (above), airing Thursday, March 21, at 9/8c on Fox. The Season 2 finale will air on May 9.

Season 2 of the reality dating show premiered Thursday, February 1. This season’s farmers are Ty Ferrell (42), Mitchell Kolinsky (27), Brandon Rogers (29), and Nathan Smothers (23).

Farmer Wants a Wife follows four farmers in search of real, lasting love. Season 2’s new crop of farmers host a group of single women who leave behind the comfort and convenience of city life for the charms and challenges of country living, as they embark on an adventure that could change the course of their lives forever.

Together, with the hope of finding their happily ever after, they endeavor to discover the beauty, humor, trials, and romance that comes with finding the one. Grammy-winner Jennifer Nettles hosts.

The season began with 32 women, but 12 were eliminated in the first episode. The remaining five women from each group were then invited to stay at their respective farmer’s homes. As of the March 14 episode, there were 13 women left.
