Is Meredith’s Career in Jeopardy in the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 15 Finale? (PHOTOS)
[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Season 15, Episode 24 of Grey’s Anatomy, “Drawn to the Blood.”]
Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti) made a sacrifice play out of love, but will it be enough?
In the penultimate episode of Grey’s Anatomy Season 15, Bailey (Chandra Wilson), Catherine (Debbie Allen), and others met to discuss something very important behind closed doors. We didn’t learn the topic of that discussion until Bailey pulled Andrew in — and learned they were talking with inspectors about Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) daughter’s supposed surgery.
Rather than let Meredith confess that she used her insurance to get a little girl the operation she needed, Andrew claimed he’d been the one to put Ellis’ name on the paperwork. In a hyperbaric chamber to help another patient, all Meredith could do was protest as Andrew told her he wanted to apologize for what he’d done before going to the police.
“It’s not fair to your kids, who need you. I committed a felony, and I’ll likely go to jail,” he said.
But is Meredith facing the same possible consequences in the Season 15 finale? “I don’t think he did it alone,” Bailey says in the trailer. Will the truth come out?
That storyline isn’t the only dramatic one that needs to be wrapped in the last episode of the season. (But don’t worry — Grey’s Anatomy has been renewed for two seasons already.) Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Schmitt (Jake Borelli) are trying to get a blood donor to the hospital to save Gus, but there’s been an accident on the freeway.
And will Teddy (Kim Raver) have to have her baby in Amelia’s (Caterina Scorsone) car?
