Meredith and DeLuca

Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) are not for everybody, but there is something to be said for their off the charts chemistry. While it’s nice to see Meredith have a little fun with a young guy for a change, there is a chance this could be a real relationship. We’re not saying he’s the next McDreamy, but after multiple seasons of sad Meredith, we’re enjoying this new Mer.

Grey’s Anatomy – Justin Chambers and Camilla Luddington
ABC

Alex and Jo

Alex (Justin Chambers) and Jo (Camilla Luddington) are going through some serious struggles right now, but they still have the most stable relationship out of all the other doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial. Alex wants to be there for his wife, and he’s not going to give up on her. They may be on shaky ground, but we have a feeling they’ll pull through.

Jason George as Ben and Chandra Wilson as Miranda in Grey's Anatomy - Season Fourteen
ABC

Miranda and Ben

We haven’t seen too much of Miranda (Chandra Wilson) and Ben (Jason George) this season, but that doesn’t mean they’re going anywhere. Though they went through a bit of a separation earlier this season, they didn’t throw in the towel and they actually fought for their marriage. Plus, Miranda supports Ben’s new career as a firefighter and Ben supports Miranda through her anxiety challenges.

Nico and Schmitt

Nico (Alex Landi) and Schmitt’s (Jake Borelli) relationship hasn’t been a big focus this season, despite their very obvious chemistry. They definitely have the purest love on the show, but we just haven’t seen a lot of it in recent weeks.

CHRIS CARMACK, CATERINA SCORSONE
ABC

Amelia and Link

Following her split from Owen (Kevin McKidd), Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) quickly jumped into bed with Link (Chris Carmack). Though it just started out as a little fling, Link showed real boyfriend potential when he stood up to Amelia’s family in New York City. It’s definitely still early, but this could be a relationship to watch out for!

CATERINA SCORSONE, GREG GERMANN, KIM RAVER
ABC

Teddy and Koracick

Teddy (Kim Raver) and Koracick (Greg Germann) don’t necessarily have electric chemistry, but they do suit each other well. Not to mention, it’s nice for Teddy to have someone to lean on during her pregnancy, despite the fact that this relationship will probably go up in flames now that Owen is single.

James Pickens Jr. as Richard and Debbie Allen as Catherine in Grey's Anatomy - Season Fifteen
ABC

Catherine and Richard

Catherine (Debbie Allen) and Richard (James Pickens Jr.) have been through a lot together and they’re a very loving couple, but there’s nothing exciting about them. Bottom line, we don’t really have strong feelings either way about this relationship.

Jesse Williams as Jackson and Kelly McCreary as Maggie in Grey's Anatomy - Season Fifteen
ABC

Jackson and Maggie

Jackson (Jesse Williams) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) don’t belong together, plain and simple. And no, it has nothing to do with the fact they’re step-siblings. It’s truly because they’re not meant to be in a relationship. Jackson should run off and be with April (Japril forever) and Maggie should find a new doctor who suits her better.

After 15 years on television, it’s no surprise Grey’s Anatomy has been through its fair share of relationships.

As we know from past seasons — with beloved couples like Derek Shepherd and Meredith Grey and despised pairings like George O’Malley and Izzie Stevens — fans definitely have opinions on the flings, hookups, marriages and everything in between that go on at the hospital.
