‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 16 Finale: Can the Docs Diagnose Richard Before It’s Too Late? (VIDEO)
The next Grey’s Anatomy episode may not have been designed to serve as the Season 16 finale — production shut down early due to the coronavirus pandemic — but it certainly looks like it’ll work as one.
After all, there’s the mystery of what’s going on with Richard (James Pickens Jr.). After the doctors failed to diagnose him in Episode 20, it looks like something may come of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and DeLuca’s (Giacomo Gianniotti) getting together to try to figure it out.
In the finale promo, while Maggie (Kelly McCreary) seems certain Richard has Alzheimer’s, her sister disagrees. But it’s DeLuca who takes a very direct approach; watch the video below to see him clash yet again with Bailey (Chandra Wilson).
Meanwhile, after thinking she was in labor in the penultimate episode, Amelia’s (Caterina Scorsone) water breaks. Will she and Link (Chris Carmack) once again begin panicking about their baby?
Also in “Put on a Happy Face,” Hayes (Richard Flood) has a surprising question for Meredith, and Owen (Kevin McKidd) makes a shocking discovery. Is the latter connected to Teddy’s (Kim Raver) affair with Tom (Greg Germann)? She tells him she’s marrying Owen, and in response, Tom says, “don’t throw your life away.” Will Teddy and Owen’s wedding happen?
