‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Couples in 2021: Who’s Together?
As Grey’s Anatomy continues to tackle the coronavirus pandemic in Season 17, the doctors’ relationship drama keeps attempting to reach all-time highs.
After all, it wouldn’t be a season of the ABC series without complications in their love lives, including two potential love triangles. Is there hope for Teddy (Kim Raver) and Owen (Kevin McKidd), even as the distance between them grows? Speaking of distance, what will eliminating that mean for Maggie’s (Kelly McCreary) new romance?

Meredith and DeLuca
The future isn’t looking bright at the moment for the exes. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) has taken a turn for the worse in her battle with COVID; when we last saw her, she was being put on a vent. And while DeLuca’s (Giacomo Gianniotti) in a much better place this season and taking care of himself, on his way to go home, take his meds, and rest, he spotted the woman from the sex trafficking ring he’d seen previously at the hospital. With his sister Carina (Stefania Spampinato) driving, he decided to follow her. Chances are if there is a reunion in Meredith and DeLuca’s future, it’s not going to happen anytime soon.
Maggie and Winston
Maggie may have finally gotten some luck when it comes to love. After reconnecting with Winston (Anthony Hill) last season, the two gave a long-distance relationship a try — until he showed up at her door in the latest episode. But can they make it work in the same city? Something tells us it’s not going to be so easy. This is Grey’s, after all.
Amelia and Link
The new parents have been drama-free pretty much since the baby daddy question was resolved last season, and really, we’re hoping they continue to stay that way.
Teddy and Owen
Is there a more complicated couple on Grey’s Anatomy (and Station 19) than this one? Last season, he found out she was having an affair with ex-boyfriend Tom (Greg Germann) thanks to a very awkward voicemail. And most recently, he learned they’d named their daughter after a woman she’d loved. Can they come back from this? This is TV, so probably, but we expect another bombshell (or two) before that happens.
Bailey and Ben
The crossover couple – Ben (Jason George) did start on Grey’s before moving over to Station 19 — is still going strong, though they haven’t had it easy for the 2020-2021 season (and not just because of quarantining). Bailey (Chandra Wilson) lost her mom to COVID. But we’re not worried about their future at all — at least romance-wise.
