Marsha Stephanie Blake is returning to How to Get Away With Murder as Gabriel’s mother for Episodes 12 and 13 of the final season, TV Insider has learned exclusively. In Episode 11, amidst flashbacks of Gabriel (Rome Flynn) seeing Asher’s (Matt McGorry) murder through the gap under his door, he called his mother and left her a simple voicemail: “I need you.”
“He’s her only child and she takes that responsibility very seriously,” Blake told TV Insider earlier this season when she first appeared on the ABC drama.
