‘Made for Love,’ ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ & More Streaming Shows on the Rise in April
With every new streaming platform comes new original series, and there are quite a few out there right now. But which shows were the most in-demand in the U.S. in April? TV Insider has exclusive data from Parrot Analytics’ analysis of the fastest rising digital original series for that month.
The top two shows are miles above the rest. Made for Love, which premiered on April 1 on HBO Max, leads the pack with an incredible 500.5 percent increase. Invincible, which debuted on March 25 on Amazon Prime Video, came in second with a 353.3 percent increase. The demand for Creepshow, on Shudder, more than doubled in the month after its second season was released.
Then there were shows like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (on Disney+), especially after WandaVision and with the upcoming Loki, which were already in high demand prior to their release and therefore didn’t show much of an increase. The same could be said of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.
Also of note are the increases for Love, Death, and Robots, considering the second season doesn’t drop until May 14, and Mythic Quest, since new episodes premiered May 7.
