Kathryn Hahn — what is there not to love about the Emmy award-nominated and iTunes chart-topping actress? Yes, you read that right: Hahn, known for her comedic stints on shows like Parks and Recreation and in classic comedy films such as We’re the Millers, is currently topping iTunes charts with the song “Agatha All Along” from Disney+’s WandaVision.
The immense popularity of her role as villainous witch Agatha Harkness has promptly landed her on the radars of many TV viewers for her side-splitting quips combined with her impressive acting skills. But while WandaVision released its final episode on March 5, there are still plenty of options out there to further explore Hahn’s illustrious TV career.

In her first television role, Hahn played secretary and later grief counselor Lily Lebowski in the early 2000s crime drama Crossing Jordan. While the heavy nature of the show meant a more serious tone than some of Hahn’s other projects, she still managed to bring an engaging spunk to her portrayal of Lily.
Jennifer Barkley, Parks and Recreation (NBC)
One of Hahn’s most well-known TV appearances has to be her recurring role as ruthless campaign manager Jennifer Barkley in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. Her political savvy and incredibly unfiltered one-liners made her a fan-favorite antagonist in Leslie Knope’s (Amy Poehler) campaign for city council. Despite their initial tensions, Jennifer loses her antagonistic edge when she offers to help Ben (Adam Scott) run for Congress later on in the series. While she ends the series as a friendly face, her humor is nowhere near dulled!

This is a brief appearance, but it just goes to show the wide breadth of Hahn’s TV career. In Season 1 of Girls, Hahn appeared in four episodes as Katherine Lavoyt, who hires Jessa (Jemima Kirke) as a nanny. However, this decision quickly becomes a mistake: Jessa is not only a poor babysitter, but she also sleeps with Katherine’s husband. Still, audiences discovered Hahn’s commanding and nuanced screen presence, which would only continue to develop in the years to come.

Mikey's Mom, Kroll Show (Comedy Central)
Appearing in the sketch “Wheels, Ontario,” Hahn parodied a very Canadian mother to Nick Kroll’s Mikey, who begins his first day at a high school where all students use wheelchairs. Yes, it’s a brief appearance, but certainly a notable one, as Hahn shows off her comedic chops with excellent line delivery and a perfect on-the-nose Canadian accent.

In the Season 4 episode “Slumber Party,” Louise (Kristen Schaal) initially perceives Jessica (Hahn) to be immensely boring. But, this is Hahn we’re talking about, so obviously, that judgment is subverted once Jessica’s underlying cunning ways are revealed, culminating in a humorous pillow fight between the girls.

Eleanor Horstwell, Brooklyn Nine-Nine (NBC)
While only appearing in one episode, how can you forget a character who’s harkened as the “destroyer of worlds” by her ex-husband, Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio)? Playing Eleanor Horstwell, Hahn once again makes an impression with her ability to portray intense characters with humorous undertones.

Eve Fletcher, Mrs. Fletcher (HBO)
HBO’s Mrs. Fletcher sees Hahn in the leading role of Eve, who undergoes an explosive sexual awakening in her adult years. Here, Hahn masterfully wields her comedic skills while simultaneously portraying a woman who is unabashed in her sexuality. If there’s anything to take away from this series, it’s that Hahn is a wonder of a leading lady, especially in portrayals of confident and self-assured female protagonists.
