‘Law & Order: SVU’ Deals With COVID & Tense Community-Police Relations (PHOTOS)

Law & Order: SVU is facing real issues head-on in the upcoming Season 22 premiere.
As you can see in the photos below, everyone is staying safe, and that means wearing masks (as Ice T‘s Sergeant Tutuola is) and getting temperature checks (Peter Scanavino‘s ADA Carisi). And according to the logline for “Guardians and Gladiators,” “When the squad tries to solve an assault in Central Park, they are hampered by their own blind spots and a community that is losing trust in the police.”
Scroll down for a look at the squad back at work in the premiere, including Deputy Chief Garland (new series regular Demore Barnes), and a sweet moment between Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her son Noah (Ryan Buggle).
