The bad guys who make the best good guys are (almost all) returning to provide a little more … Leverage … in a revival of the TNT drama.

But before our favorite grifter Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman), hitter Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane), thief Parker (Beth Riesgraf) and hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge, recurring due to scheduling) return (without the mastermind, Timothy Hutton’s Nate Ford) on IMDb TV, why not get a feel for what to expect from this crew? After all, they’re back to once again help people wronged by the rich and powerful.

We may not know what Noah Wyle’s new character, corporate lawyer Harry Sullivan, will bring to the table, but you can see what the team dynamic was like without him in the episodes below. And since we don’t know much about what the revival will pick up from the original series, we’ve just gathered a selection that will let you get to know the crew and how they operate.

"The Nigerian Job" (Season 1, Episode 1)

The episode that brought all of them together for the first time. Prior to this job, they’d only worked separately — and Nate had been the one trying to catch them. But when Victor Dubenich, who’d hired them, turned on them, they united (and had no idea they’d stick together for years to come).

Leverage Season 3 Episode 11 The Rashomon Job Parker Hardison
TNT

"The Rashomon Job" (Season 3, Episode 11)

One night before they met, the grifter, hitter, hacker, and thief all tried to steal the same artifact from a museum … while the mastermind was there as an insurance investigator. Each person had a different recollection of the same events, and in one of the best episodes of the series, they hilariously recap what they remember (including different variations of Sophie’s accent).

Leverage The Grave Danger Job Hardison Buried Alive
TNT

"The Grave Danger Job" (Season 4, Episode 7)

While trying to take down a grifter embezzling money from clients at a funeral home, one of the crew’s own ended up in some serious trouble. Not only did they have to find a way to get the job done and complete the con to help the victims, but they also had to save Hardison, who’d been buried alive, before he ran out of air.

Leverage The Cross My Heart Job Airport
TNT

"The Cross My Heart Job" (Season 4, Episode 9)

For three and a half seasons, we’d watched the team members think on their feet during cons, but that had nothing on what they had to do here. While flying home from another job, they discovered a plot to steal a heart from a dying young boy. They had to get the organ back while it was still viable, rescue a kidnapped girl, and steal the airport, all while racing a clock and without any of their usual equipment.

"The Queen's Gambit Job" (Season 4, Episode 10)

Usually on opposite sides, Jim Sterling (Mark Sheppard) turned to his former colleague and fellow insurance investigator Nate for help, ostensibly to steal a nuclear centrifuge calibration weight, but really to serve as a distraction while he got his daughter away from her stepfather (Tom Amandes).

"The Rundown Job" (Season 5, Episode 9)

Two episodes from what ended up being the final season (at the time) saw the team separated; in one, Nate and Sophie worked a con involving a missing painting, while in this one, Eliot, Parker, and Hardison stopped a terror attack in D.C. “The Rundown Job” offered a look at what the team could have been like in a sixth season, if Nate and Sophie had still left, leaving the others to continue providing … leverage.

"The Long Goodbye Job" (Season 5, Episode 15)

The original run could not have ended with a more perfect series finale. From death fake-outs for the entire team to phenomenal acting from all involved to one heck of a con to the reveal of why they were in Portland in the first place, the drama left off on a high note. Plus, Parker took over as the mastermind and she, Hardison, and Eliot were still going to be helping people.
