9 Burning Questions for ‘Lucifer’s Sixth and Final Season

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for all of Season 5 of Lucifer.]
If you’ve binged the second half of Lucifer‘s fifth season, chances are you have so many questions after that wild cliffhanger, as well as the moments leading up to it.
Over the eight episodes of Season 5B, God (Dennis Haysbert) retired (to his wife’s dimension), and Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and his twin Michael battled it out to take over as God. Lucifer won — after seemingly burning from within during a trip to heaven to bring back Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) after his brother killed her. And speaking of Chloe, she decided she’d quit the LAPD to become Lucifer’s consultant in his new gig (before he got it).
Fans also said goodbye to Detective Dan Espinoza (Kevin Alejandro), who died during Lucifer and Michael’s conflict, and watched as the demon Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt), who wanted God to give her a soul only for him to essentially tell her she can grow one, reunited with Eve (Inbar Lavi) after accepting she’d have to lose her mortal love one day.
Fortunately, there’s one more season to go. (The Netflix drama was supposed to end with its fifth but was ultimately renewed for a sixth season.) Scroll down for the burning questions we can’t wait to see answered when Lucifer returns.
