It’s the beginning of the end as Modern Family nears its series finale episode. The ABC comedy, which premiered in 2009, will conclude this April after 11 seasons on air and it’s an emotional time for the cast and fans alike.
Over the past few days, the cast has been sharing sweet tributes and throwback images, but the finale is upon them as the final table read took place days ago. Back on set for the last hurrah, the stars have been offering a glimpse at the final episode with behind-the-scenes photos.
Star Rico Rodriguez, who has played Manny since he was 11 years old, shared a touching video in preparation for the final few days of filming. “Tears in our eyes, and hearts so grateful. Last week, we read the last episode of #ModernFamily and it was such a surreal moment. Today, we start production on the final episode.”
