‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Preview: How Far Might Callen Go to Get Anna Back? (VIDEO)
The NCIS: Los Angeles team might have gotten CIA Officer Joelle Taylor (Elizabeth Bogush) back, albeit injured (she lost a finger and a leg due to torture), but ex-government agent and Callen’s (Chris O’Donnell) girlfriend Anna (Bar Paly) is now missing. And it’s not just Russian asset Katya (Eve Harlow) who’s a threat to her.
Rather, as viewers saw at the end of the latest episode, and the team will learn in April 4’s “The Noble Maidens,” a group with ties to Anna’s upbringing have her. Callen, understandably, is determined to find her, and, as the promo shows, he doesn’t really care who might get hurt in the process.
“I want to find Anna, but we need to be smart about this,” Sam (LL Cool J) says, but will he be able to get through to his partner considering none of them know what’s happening to Anna? From what we see from Callen in the video below, that won’t be easy.
As the logline teases, the team has to find her “before she is forcibly returned to Russia.” And in the photos, it looks like they may be on the right track as they check out shipping containers.
Elsewhere in the episode, Admiral Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) has a “serious offer” for Nell (Renée Felice Smith), who has been acting operations manager in Hetty’s (Linda Hunt) absence. What might that mean for her future with the agency, especially since she was ready to quit last season before Hetty had her take an extended vacation?
Scroll down for a look at Nell meeting with Kilbride, the search for Anna, and more in the “Noble Maidens” photos.
