‘NCIS: LA’ Preview: Domestic Densi and the Search for Dangerous Technology (PHOTOS)
Apparently, 2021 is the year of hijacked comms on a CBS procedural drama. MacGyver recently ran into some trouble when the Phoenix Foundation’s comms were hacked, and in the May 2 episode, the NCIS: LA team falls victim to just that, too.
In “Imposter Syndrome,” NCIS gets its hands on a hard drive with a realistic deep fake video of a deceased terrorist and then must find the dangerous technology behind it. But, the logline teases, “when the team’s comms are highjacked during their mission, they find that one of their own has been a victim of its potential.”
As glimpsed in the photos released for this episode – the first new one since April 4’s — someone seems to be playing around with Special Agent Fatima Namazi’s (Medalion Rahimi) face on a computer, and Fatima may hop on a motorcycle to take down a suspect. Plus, it looks like we’ll see more of Special Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Investigator Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) at home — and perhaps hear more about them trying to have a baby? Scroll down for more.
“Imposter Syndrome” is one of the last episodes of the 12th season; the finale is set for Sunday, May 23, and CBS has yet to announce a decision about its future.
