Can Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the team trust what a 95-year-old former Navy sailor claims in the April 14 episode of NCIS?
Christopher Lloyd guest stars as Joseph “Joe” Smith, who claims he served on the U.S.S. Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor and wants to be buried there upon his death. But can the team verify his identity? According to the character’s description, Joe is “sharp, spry, and an unapologetic curmudgeon,” so that should make for some entertaining scenes with Gibbs.
As the photos below show, the team is going to have plenty of questions for him as he “confounds” them. Will his ashes be laid to rest with his fellow sailors upon his death? Or is there more to his story than he claims?
