Rocky Carroll Directs ‘NCIS’ Episode 7 ‘No Vacancy’ (PHOTOS)
Rocky Carroll stepped behind the camera for the 11th time on NCIS for the November 12 episode.
The actor directs “No Vacancy,” in which the team investigates a Marine’s murder and discovers a labyrinth of live-streaming spy cameras hidden in rooms of a motel in Virginia.
Carroll made his directorial debut with the Season 12 episode, “We Build, We Fight.” He was behind the camera for three episodes in Season 16 (“Beneath the Surface,” “The Last Link,” and “Silent Service.”)
“I have learned that the director brain and the actor brain support each other when I am behind the camera,” he previously told TV Insider. “It’s my experience as an actor that allows me to find the proper way to communicate with everyone associated with the series — the actors, the director of photography, the technicians.”
