‘NCIS’: See Mark Harmon and His Wife Pam Dawber Together in ‘Gut Punch’ (PHOTOS)
Based on the photos from the next episode of NCIS, airing on April 6, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is going to be spending his suspension exactly where he’d be if he were working: his basement and the diner. But, as you can see above, he’ll be joined by a new face in the latter, investigative journalist Marcie Warren, played by Pam Dawber (Harmon’s wife).
“Gut Punch,” directed by series star Rocky Carroll (who plays Director Leon Vance), is just the first of four episodes in which Dawber will appear in the CBS procedural’s 18th season. (It has yet to be renewed for a 19th, and Harmon’s future with the series is uncertain.)
This will be the first case that the team — McGee (Sean Murray), Torres (Wilmer Valderrama), and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) — works (onscreen at least) since Vance suspended Gibbs indefinitely. (Their boss put a man who was running a dogfighting ring in the hospital, after he learned the man killed the animals who lost. Gibbs only regret? Not killing him. Vance, put “in an impossible situation,” took his badge and gun.) The agents will be tasked with COVID compliance duty at a foreign affairs summit, but they’ll find a link to another NCIS team’s murder case.
Scroll down for another look at Dawber’s guest spot (How might Marcie help Gibbs?) as well as the team’s investigation. How strange is it to not see Gibbs anywhere near it?!
