McGee & Gibbs Begin to Recover After That Major ‘NCIS’ Shocker (PHOTOS)
Where do you go after your boss shoots you twice to save your life? That’s the question for the January 26 episode of NCIS, “1mm.”
The latest episode, “Head of the Snake,” revealed why Gibbs (Mark Harmon) shoots McGee (Sean Murray) at an airport (first seen to open the season): McGee’s comms were out and he was approaching a plane about to explode. Gibbs had no other option to stop him.
“We’ll see the aftermath of that shooting,” Murray promised TV Insider, and the photos for “1mm” do see the two talking at the injured agent’s apartment.
“It’s not like McGee just throws on a Band-Aid and says, ‘We’re good, Boss,'” Murray continued. “We very realistically explore some of the emotions and thoughts of the aftermath of what that really would be in dealing with that. Just the shock of what it is and the reality of, how do we face this and move past this?”
Elsewhere in this next episode, Bishop (Emily Wickersham) and Torres (Wilmer Valderrama), while following a tip about smuggled weapons, find themselves in a shootout in a former sheriff’s residence (now a historical site) and locked in abandoned jail cells there.
