A coronavirus vaccine is still months away, but at least we have binge watches to keep us entertained during shelter-in-place protocols. In fact, the nine series and franchises below— all of which have more than 100 episodes available on Netflix — will keep you occupied for a total of 112 days, 3 hours. That’s close to four months!
Combining What’s on Netflix’s list of the best long binges on Netflix in 2020 with Bingeclock’s total runtime data for each series, we’ve calculated how long each binge watch would take you. And with that total of 112 days and change, you’d be well into 2021 even if you streamed them all back-to-back, without stopping. (But please don’t!)
‘Parks and Recreation’ (7 seasons, 125 episodes)
Leslie Knope and her ragtag group of civil servants will keep you laughing for 2 days and 15 hours—and watch out for that Joe Biden cameo!
‘Shameless’ (10 seasons, 122 episodes)
A binge of this Showtime family comedy—in which the Gallagher family puts the “fun” in “dysfunctional”—will last around 5 days and 11 hours, by our math.
‘The Walking Dead’ (9 seasons, 131 episodes)
The strong-stomached among you can devour 6 days and 2 hours of this AMC zombie drama.
‘The West Wing’ (7 seasons, 155 episodes)
With this NBC drama, you can follow the Bartlet administration for a total of 6 days and 10 hours. (That’s a lot of walk-and-talks!)
The ‘Vampire Diaries’ Universe (3 series, 14 seasons, 279 episodes)
Between The CW’s The Vampire Diaries and its spinoffs—The Originals and Legacies—you can sink your teeth into around 11 days and 18 hours of entertainment.
‘Criminal Minds’ (12 seasons, 277 episodes)
If Netflix adds the final three seasons of this CBS procedural, you’ll have 13 days and 14 hours of grisly serial killer drama to watch.
‘Grey’s Anatomy’ (16 seasons, 363 episodes)
