It looks like our favorite ladies of Litchfield prison will be doing hard time in Season 4 of the addictive comedy drama Orange Is the New Black. In a money-saving scheme, the administrators of the Connecticut correctional facility have brought in a whole batch of new inmates from other prisons, turning Litchfield into what looks like a sardine can of beige (the Litchfield vets) and orange (the newbies.) If this batch of newly-released photos are an indicator, we can probably expect a color war—make that an un-civil war—as everyone jockeys for power.The pics here also show that former drug runner Alex (Laura Prepon) survived a mob hit and her sometime love-turned-wannabe-prison top dog, Piper (Taylor Schilling), is in for more prison punishment.
We can't wait for the new season—as long as all this violence and revenge doesn’t keep Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba) from writing more insane sci-fi porn. Here are nine tantalizing photos of the Litchfield follies.
Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling)
Piper must have pissed off the Latina contingent something bad here, especially Flores (Laura Gomez), to warrant possibly losing a hand.
Alex Vause (Laura Prepon)
If this isn’t a flashback, Alex (Prepon) is not only alive but she has once again annoyed some COs, who are coming her way.
Samira Wiley (Poussey Washington) and Judy King (Blair Brown)
At least prison food should be tastier than last year’s gruel with Martha Stewart stand-in Judy King (Brown) in the kitchen.
Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba), Taystee (Danielle Brooks) and Cindy Hayes (Adrienne C. Moore)
Looks good that Crazy Eyes is still good at saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Or so her besties Taystee and new Jew Tova seem to be think.
Red (Kate Mulgrew) and Gloria Mendoza (Selenis Leyva)
