‘Outlander’: Jamie’s on the Mend & Claire Gets Defensive in Midseason 7 Finale Photos

Preview
Outlander may be preparing for its midseason finale installment, “Turning Points,” but don’t expect Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) to go into the next Droughtlander without a bang first — and by bang, we mean the Second Battle of Saratoga.
In newly released photos for the episode arriving August 11, Jamie is on the mend following an uncertain outcome in the previous episode; “A Practical Guide for Time-Travelers” saw him unconscious following the first battle. It seems that Claire has been able to revive her love though as she wields her own weapon in the images, below.
Plus, William (Charles Vandervaart) continues to fight alongside the red coats as Ian (John Bell) embraces Mohawk battle traditions when fighting for the rebels. Off the battlefield, it seems Ian is reserving a less violent approach for Rachel (Izzy Meikle-Small), who continues to captivate the young soldier while her brother Denzell (Joey Phillips) continues to treat patients with Claire.
Meanwhile, a familiar face is returning as Arch Bug (Hugh Ross) seems to resurface, and there’s a quick look at Roger (Richard Rankin) and Brianna (Sophie Skelton), who realized their worst nightmare had seemed to come true as their son was kidnapped by the sneaky Rob Cameron (Chris Fulton). Scroll down for a closer look at the action ahead in the midseason finale and relive every second of Outlander‘s seventh season anytime on the Starz app and on-demand until the show returns for Season 7’s second half sometime next year.
