Jamie Keeps Guard (Season 1, Episode 5)
Before they get married, Jamie and Claire’s chemistry is on full display throughout the first few episodes of Season 1. One scene from Episode 5 that is sure to leave shippers satisfied is when Jamie is caught sleeping outside Claire’s door in an attempt to thwart unwanted attention and visitors in the middle of the night.
Jamie and Claire Say “I Do” (Season 1, Episode 7)
There’s no Outlander fan that doesn’t know the infamous wedding episode which is a shipper’s paradise between Jamie and Claire’s nuptials to their wedding night jitters.
Drunk Pillowtalk (Season 1, Episode 12)
When Jamie and Claire arrive at Lallybroch, Jamie quickly takes up his leadership role. One night when he returns to his room where Claire is sleeping, Jamie’s drunk stumbling leads to a comical exchange that leaves fans smiling the same way that Claire does.
Claire Supports Jamie (Season 1, Episode 16)
Following his time at Wentworth, Jamie is quiet and reclusive towards his wife, but Claire doesn’t let that fly and she forces him to open up to her. Despite the painful experience of Jack Randall’s assault on him, Claire’s unwillingness to give up on Jamie only proves how unbreakable their bond is.
Jamie Defends Claire (Season 2, Episode 2)
During Season 2, Jamie and Claire work to prevent the eventual Battle of Culloden and start in France, but one of Claire’s attempts to make an acquaintance doesn’t go as planned and the man is handsy. Of course, Jamie isn’t far behind and he quickly removes the man from his wife unaware that they need to make a good impression on the him. The misunderstanding is hilarious to say the least as Jamie throws the man in a nearby body of water and he chides Claire for her revealing gown not helping the situation.
Jamie’s Offer (Season 3, Episode 4)
Upon deciding that he will leave Helwater, Jamie approaches Lord John Grey about caring for his illegitimate son William. In return for Lord John’s sacrifice, Jamie offers his body to the man who is a friend with an infatuation he can’t act on. Even though Lord John refuses, the exchange proves the strength of their bond for those who ship them.
Jamie and Claire Reunite (Season 3, Episode 6)
Certainly one of the most-anticipated scenes, when Claire returns to the past to reunite with Jamie, they are given quite the scene. Whether it’s Jamie’s fainting or their first kiss in 20 years, Jamie and Claire shippers receive a hefty pay-off for their patience over the couple’s separation.
Fergus & Marsali’s Island Nuptials (Season 3, Episode 11)
Throughout Season 3, Fergus and Marsali try to prove their commitment to each other with Jamie and when he finally gives his approval young love wins out when the pair takes part in an island-set wedding. When the officiator asks for Fergus’ name and Jamie says he’s a Fraser, it’s just the icing on the cake.
Brianna & Roger Dance (Season 4, Episode 3)
In Season 4 fans see Bree and Roger’s relationship grow and their road trip to North Carolina for a Scottish heritage festival shows just how close they are getting. A particularly memorable moment from the trip is their dance floor turn and carefree attitudes.
Brianna & Roger Declare Themselves (Season 4, Episode 8)
After traveling to the past, Roger finally catches up to Brianna in this episode which sees the couple declare themselves to each other. Although short-lived, their reunion in this episode is every bit as sweet as a shipper could hope for.
Jacosta & Murtagh Happen (Season 4, Episode 13)
In a surprising turn of events, Murtagh and Jacosta found a love connection in the midst of a revolution. While fans got a small taste of their bond, perhaps more is on the horizon for these two in Season 5?
Roger Comes Back (Season 4, Episode 13)
In the Season 4 finale, it seems that Roger is never going to return to Brianna, but in the final moments he comes riding into River Run. When he meets Bree on the lawn he tells her that he’ll care for her son even if he’s not his own and promises to stick by her moving forward.
By now, viewers and fans of Outlander alike know that the show is all about the romance when it comes to beloved characters Jamie and Claire Fraser.
