Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) time in the American colonies has been anything but easy.
So far they’ve been robbed, beaten, tried to save a slave, got lost in the woods, and Claire was visited by a spooky spirit.. and we’re only three episodes in.
On a positive note, the couple has finally decided to build a homestead on a beautiful piece of land near a river in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, calling it Fraser’s Ridge.
But the untamed forest holds its own set of challenges with the land’s first occupants: Native Americans — specifically the people of the Cherokee tribe.
