Netflix Reveals ‘Peaky Blinders’ Season 5 Premiere Date & First Look (PHOTOS)
Peaky Blinders is coming back to Netflix with a fifth season this fall, and we finally have a release date.
Beginning Friday, October 4, fans can tune in to stream the next chapter of the British drama starring Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby. Now, as a former crime lord turned member of parliament, Tommy and the series will explore the notions that violence can destroy lives, empires will rise and fall over time and that class divisions are a corrosive thing.
Season 5 picks up in 1929 during the financial crash that throws the world into chaos. When Tommy is approached by a politician with a vision, he knows if he aligns himself with the man, it could change the course of the entire nation, not just his family.
Returning on October 4 with Murphy are stars Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, Finn Cole, Kate Phillips, Natasha O’Keeffe, Aidan Gillen, Jack Rowan, Charlie Murphy, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Harry Kirton, Packy Lee, Ned Dennehy, Ian Peck and Benjamin Zephaniah.
