The Super Bowl is fun and everything, but the real stars of the day are the fluffy and cuddly ones featured on Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl, one of the original counter-programming events to the big game.

The adoption extravaganza is back and celebrating its 15th year with a new group of adorable animals that are “ready to tumble and fumble into their new homes across the nation.”

#TeamRuff and #TeamFluff will be going wet nose-to-nose in this year’s two-hour event, with America’s favorite “Rufferee,” Dan Schachner, returning to call “puppy penalties, furry fumbles and terrier touchdowns.”

In 2019, “Animal Planet worked with over 50 dedicated animal shelters and rescue organizations from over 20 states and territories in the U.S. and made an international stop to Costa Rica, to get these puppies set for the big game,” according to the network.
