It seems as though all of our faves — Betty, Archie, Jughead and Cheryl — received a suspicious VHS tape that contains a long recording of the outside of their houses. Who is behind this and what are they up to? If Jughead received one too, then there has to be an outsider amongst the crew. Is this a threat from Dodger’s gang?

Jughead’s autopsy

We were left with a scene of Betty and FP confirming the body of Jughead. This scene left fans awestruck, as it seems to somewhat confirm that Jughead is actually dead and may not actually come back. How did this happen? As far as we know, Jughead’s classmates from Stonewall Prep have been acting very strange throughout this season.

Hermosa’s reveal

Riverdale introduces Hermosa, Veronica’s secret stepsister. She helped Hiram during his trial when his family went against him. Now that’s she is in the picture, what are her motives? How will she play out with the rest of the group? It seems like she’s here to stay.

Jughead’s teacher commits suicide

After Jughead confesses to his teacher that he believes his father was the writer of the hit mystery novel instead of Mr. Dupont, his teacher promises to help seek justice for Jughead’s grandfather. But after that, Jughead’s teacher jumps out the window to his death, while the students do nothing to help. On top of that, Mr. Dupont, the ghost writer headmaster of Stonewall Prep, replaces him and is now Jughead’s teacher. What kind of mystery is Jughead about to dive into?

Chic and Charles’ love affair

This week’s episode shows us that Charles and Chic are supposedly in a relationship, and they’re up to something. After Chic tells Charles about the body in the woods from the previous season, Charles earns Betty’s trust. But it seems like it was all part of Chic’s plan. Where will this lead for Betty and will the two play a role in Jughead’s death?

How did it lead to this? At the end of Episode 5, FP disrupts class and arrests Archie, Betty and Veronica for the murder of Jughead. This tells us that Jughead was in fact murdered, not lost. Why would Jughead’s friends murder him? This seems to be a connection to the time the three were in the forrest covered in blood … Interesting.

The CW’s Riverdale Season 4 is in full swing after a chaotic third season, and things are getting out of hand.

The show captures the naiveté of one’s teen years and crosses it with the bizarre mysteries that Archie (KJ Apa) and his friends aim to uncover. We witnessed the mystery of the Black Hood unfold in the first season, then the chaotic dictatorship of Veronica’s (Camila Mendes) family at Riverdale, now cults and gang violence.

A small recap from the previous seasons: Archie ran away from Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos), but made his way back to Riverdale and now owns a fighting ring. Veronica is constantly fighting off her family’s plans to control Riverdale, while also being apart of their schemes … and also owns a speakeasy inside the Pop’s Diner.

After saving her family from the cult known as “the Farm,” Betty (Lili Reinhart) is taking up FBI training with her half-brother, Charles. Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) also escaped the Farm but now has her (still not decomposed) dead brother’s body inside her house. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) just joined Stonewall Prep and is also apparently dead. How did it lead up to where it is now?
